One of the hangouts of today's vacationers especially this summer is the beautiful scenery and very fresh atmosphere of the Paper Tree Resort & Picnic Area in Brgy Namatacan, San Narciso, Zambales.
The Paper Tree Resort & Picnic Area is in the middle of the fields where you can breathe the very fragrant breeze caused by the fragrance of the rice fields. To the east of the resort you can see the river where the lahar that flowed from the mouth of "Mt. Pinatubo" when it erupted. The environment of the river looked like a beautiful desert as if white sands were flowing through it.
There are huts here that stand and float on the water. The rent for each hut costs from P150.00 to P250.00.
There are also ATV Adventure rides here. The rent for an ATV per hour is P500.00 and there is an additional P200.00 per back rider.
The Paper Tree Resort & Picnic Area is accessible by any vehicle. You can also commute only by Tricycle. The fare per person is estimated from P50.00 to P100.00.
If you are coming from the south, you will enter the town of San Marcelino - the capital town of the so -called white turnip. Take the road to Bgy. Consuelo Norte (this road is better known as the "short-cut") and next to it is Bgy Dallipawen and then Bgy. Namatacan = the place where Paper Tree Resort & Pinic Area is located.
If you are coming from the North, you will enter the town of San Narciso - town of the famous Philippine Merchant Marine Academy. Turn left at the first corner after you pass the Municipality - or on the side of the Auditorium. Take the road to Bgy. Grullo, then in Bgy Nigatil, Bgy. Saint Joseph and Bgy. Namatacan.
On the way to the Paper Tree Resort & Picnic Area you will come across bumpy roads.
The Paper Tree Resort & Picnic Area is often full so before you bring your family or friends here, it is better to make a booking at this resort first.
